Gardner Health Services is currently recruiting to fill two (2) Optometry Technician IIpositions. One is a full-time position that will split time between the CompreCare Health Center in San Jose, California and the Gardner Packard Health Center located in Atherton, CA and the other is a full-time position based out of the South County Clinic in Gilroy, California.
The Optometry Technician II reports to the Optometry Director: assists the Optometrists and performs a variety of tasks related to the ordering and dispensing of ophthalmic prescriptions. Also assures appropriate reimbursement for services and lenses, including collection of fees.

Minimum Qualifications:
Optometry Technician II
- Two (2) or more year’s institutional training with degree certified and certification or five (5) years’ experience.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish, preferred.
- Interact in a courteous helpful manner with patients, clients and staff and to work effectively with a diverse population in a teamwork environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in optometric clinical procedures and theories.

Compensation:
Compensation and level of position placement will be determined based on relevant experience and education.
