We are looking for a positive, professional, self-motivated person to join Norton Eye Care. We are a busy private practice with an Optical Boutique. We are dedicated to patient care. Providing excellent optical services and products to our clientele. The ideal candidate would have self-motivation and be task oriented. Learning new skills, working well on their own, and as a team are a must in this fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments current/future. Handling phone order/taking payments. Patient registration and confirming insurance benefits. Maintaining patient flow. Various other office duties, eventually cross training to assist Opticians and Technicians.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required
Previous office experience/computer skills/multitasking abilities
Experience in Optometry/Ophthalmology is preferred
Familiarity with EHR and vision/health insurance
Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance Excellent communication and problem solving skills. Working well as a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
