SalaryPerforms any combination of the following tasks to assist Optometrist: Obtain/enter/record patient's case history, prepares patient for eye examination by performing preliminary testing, records/scribes for the Optometrist during examination, helps to maintain records, schedules appointments and correspondence to other offices, assists in the hand-off to optical/contact lens department. Hours can vary between 35-40 hours per week. Includes one evening a week until 7 p.m. and the 2nd and 4th Saturday mornings of every month from 7:45 a.m.-noon.
