Options Market Maker (Commodities)

As an Options Market Maker at Prime Trading, you’ll have access to the firm’s resources and mentors to help you grow your career.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing new automated and discretionary trading strategies

• Working one-on-one with senior traders to create new strategies, processes, and projects to drive growth

• Improving trading operations alongside our technology team

• Conducting post-trade analysis and portfolio reviews

Desired Skills:

• 1+ years of option market making experience

• A passion for investing, a competitive mindset, and an entrepreneurial sprit

• Aptitude for problem solving, multitasking, and a willingness to take ownership

• Thorough understanding of trading metrics, environments, and market behavior to support informed, data-driven decisions

• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and communicate effectively

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.

• High level of proficiency in Excel, python, and statistical modeling; other programming a plus

• Proven ability to successfully manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience being the decision maker and risk manager
