Weber Eye Care in Ripon, WI, is looking for an upbeat, detail-oriented team player, who is capable of basic medical receptionist skills and enjoys assisting people. Cross-training with optical experience is preferred and will be compensated based on level of experience. However, motivated new career-seekers with good communication skills are encouraged to apply, as paid training will be provided. Waiting period of 90 days will apply for benefits. Three-day weekends off May through August, as well as 3 out of 4 weekends the rest of the year. Must be available during our hours of operation on Monday and Tuesday 9 am to 6 pm and Wednesday and Thursday 8 am to 5:30 pm. No weekend hours.
Responsibilities include:
- Fitting, adjusting, repairing, ordering and dispensing spectacle frames and lenses.
- Answer patient phone calls professionally and schedule appointments.
- Obtain insurance information and collect payments.
- Working with managed vision plans, including providing guidance to patients
- Utilizing moderate degree of computer skills to order eyewear and access electronic medical records.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 40 per week
