If so, a busy multi-doctor optometric practice is seeking an enthusiastic Optician/Apprentice Optician/Luxury Eyewear stylist to assist our patients with eyewear selection, dispensing, adjustment and repairs.
Candidates must be able to relate well to patients in order to provide individualized recommendations for frame and lens options. In addition, the optician should have outstanding customer service, consultative sales experience, a professional appearance, and attention to detail. Experience with health/vision insurance and electronic medical record systems is useful, but not required.
Applicants must have a least a high school diploma and one year experience working in a customer-focused environment. Candidates must be available for some evening and Saturday hours. Prior experience working in an ophthalmology practice or optometric practice is helpful, but we will train the right candidate.
Northwest EyeCare Professionals (www.nweye.com) is located in Upper Arlington, about 3 miles west of OSU. We are a friendly, team based practice with 6 doctors and an experienced staff ready to help a new member join the team. We offer base pay, incentive bonuses, and benefits.
