What You'll Do
Perform optical fabrication processes, including but not limited to coring, sawing, curve generating, plano generating, beveling, blocking, grinding, polishing, MRF operation, testing, cleaning, assembly, plus other related and similar duties.
Perform moderately complex set ups and operate optical fabrication equipment on assignments of medium to difficult under minimal direction.
Work from written and/or verbal instructions.
Maintain work area and equipment in a neat and orderly condition.
Follow prescribed safety regulations
Understand and follow ISO procedures
Reads and interprets blueprints, and process routines
Understands TQP principles and participates as required
Performs other similar and related duties as assigned
What You'll Bring
High school diploma or equivalent required, plus a minimum of 2 years Machining experience preferrably in a precision optics fabrication facility
Understand ISO procedures
Must be able to read blueprints
