Optical Sales Associate

Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their purchases
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Meet and exceed sales targets and goals
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers

Experience:
- Previous sales experience, preferably in a retail environment
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with optical products and services is a plus
- Basic understanding of retail math for pricing and discounts
- Experience in retail management or leadership roles is beneficial

Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with customers and provide personalized recommendations
- Knowledge of ophthalmology or medical coding is a plus
- Understanding of senior care needs and products is beneficial
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems for transactions
- Basic knowledge of anatomy for understanding product features and benefits
- Familiarity with aseptic technique for handling eyewear
