Salary*We are looking for a friendly optical assistant in a non-corporate optical. Must have basic typing skills, use Word Documents. Must speak English well; bi-lingual a plus.
* Will train on the job. No experience necessary
*Will access electronic authorizations from multiple insurance websites for eye exams. Will prepare patient charts and learn all vision plans and medical insurance plans and establish patient copays/ benefits.
*We have 4 different instruments that you'll need to learn. They take photos of eyes and measure eyeglasses Rx.
*Full time work schedule 36hours per week. You'll be working weekdays 9:45a-6:15p, and Saturday 8:45a- 2:15p. (Your Days off are Wednesday and Sunday.)
*This is not a retail location; we do not work past 6:15 pm or late weekend hours.
*Continuing Education classes paid to further your skills and expertise.
*Further your hands-on opticianry skills along a skilled licensed optician; small eyeglass repairs, frame adjustment.
