Our Pediatric Ophthalmology practice has an exceptional part-time to full-time opportunity available for an experienced, accurate, energetic, caring, self-motivated and career-oriented technician. This position requires a good understanding of the day to day office routine of an ophthalmology practice and the candidate must have the necessary clinical skills to assist the ophthalmologist with patient care. Candidates must also be a team player and possess the ability to communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, physicians, and supervisors.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- COA/COT preferred, but certification is not required.
- Must be willing to travel between our 3 locations ( Dallas, Grapevine, and Plano)
- Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting, preferably in ophthalmology or optical field
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
