ICR has opportunities available for experience and motivated Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) STA’s. This position will identify infrared events by identifying and validating OPIR events and initiating event reporting and storage.
This position is contingent on contract award, subsequent funding and clearance cross-over.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SSBI
- A Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 4+ years of relevant experience, to include military time.
- Exceptional analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
- Good organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform tasks on a team with supervision and guidance.
Required Job Functions
- Perform missile/clutter discrimination, missile-type identification, and the association of missile stages.
- Assess offline static processor events for possible high priority OPIR activity and initiate event reporting and storage at Customer direction.
- Identify and report new or unusual OPIR events to the customer.
- Shift work may be required to support 24/7 operations.
