Location: 24 Newton St, Southborough, MA
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday

Primary Responsibilities:
- The Ophthalmic Assistant performs a variety of duties involving basic vision testing
- Assists physician/optometrist in the examination and treatment of patients by performing routine vision tests
- Assists the physician/optometrist with routine clinical/diagnostic procedures and other related duties

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPR/BLS certification
- Completion of JCAHPO, written exam for certification for COA and maintain active status
- Experience working in sterile field set up and assisting with minor surgical procedures
- Knowledge of various software applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
- General computer skills or knowledge
- Demonstrated excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven ability to show proficiency within 9 months through the competency evaluative process
