ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following: - Ensure materials for upcoming rewinding, via the production schedule and sheets, are staged for production.
- Rewind all materials needed for cables being loaded onto the stranders while maintaining a level wind on all bobbins.
- Operate rewinders in accordance with IAL and QMS work instructions and industry safe practices.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on all rewinders per IAL maintenance program guidelines and industry safe practices.
- Assist staging rewound material for upcoming cables, including all subsequent cleaning activities.
- Assist with loading strander following production sheets and lead MO.
- Complete production forms and reports accurately; communicates effectively with management and incoming shift.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
- Operate a forklift as needed to assist with staging materials.
- Construct wooden reels and/or locating and staging metal reels for cable winding.
- Other duties as assigned by lead MO, Line Supervisor, Production Manager, and Plant Manager.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ years of experience with machine operating required.
- Forklift operation experience 1+ years required.
- Basic literacy with computers; Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Basic mathematic competencies; addition, subtraction, multiply, divide.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Capable of understanding the core procedures and machine operation of the planetary strander and wire rewinder.
- Good organizational and relationship-building skills.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Able to work 12-hour shifts in 4 days on, 4 days off pattern.
