JOB SUMMARY:
Inspect painted part and assist with material flow.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support production by inspecting all painted parts to the appropriate cosmetic standards to ensure quality parts are delivered to all customers.
• Ensures parts are packaged and protected properly to avoid potential material handling damage.
• Assist in unloading parts from the production line into appropriate packaging containers or carts. Must be able to lift 40lbs.
• Work hand-in-hand with forklift operator to ensure proper material flow
• Make necessary recommendations for process improvements.
• Support work load overtime requirements with minimal notice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Support/maintain housekeeping objectives within the Metal Paint department and throughout the company.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist, turn, kneel, squat, and climb.
• Stand and walk for the duration of assigned shift and reach overhead continuously.
• Work safely around moving equipment, power tools, and industrial vehicles.
• Repetitive use of upper extremities

It may be necessary to perform any of these functions up to twelve hours a day.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Understanding of Paint Cosmetic Standards
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Decision Making Skills
• Dependable time management skills
