**This role is an ONSITE role located at 1224 Poinsett Hwy., Greenville, SC 29609**      11pm-7:30am +OT 

**6-week training on 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7am – 3:30pm. Then released to permanent, full-time shift.**

Position: As a Lettershop Operator, you will contribute to our mail production process by ensuring accurate, efficient and safe operation of production machinery. We require attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, attendance and commitment to quality in a production environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Folding, assembly, inserting, packaging, sorting, and mailing
  • Operation of mail production equipment while paying attention to details and deadlines
  • Set up and adjust equipment for production runs independently
  • Troubleshooting of mailing, sorting, folding, inserting equipment
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and identify any deviations
  • Work with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and resolve any issues

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a detail oriented and deadline driven environment
  • Ability to identify if improper machine operation and make basic adjustments
  • Ability to lift loads up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand on feet at least 8 hours per shift
  • Acquire expertise in USPS postal regulations (knowledge or experience preferred)
  • Work history of longevity, excellent attendance and responsibility (no job hoppers)
  • Ability to read and understand job tickets, maintain and document production process
  • Ability to use powered material handling equipment and stack pallets
  • Flexibility to work extended/different shifts during peak seasons
  • Position requires High School/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Work Environment: Production Facility

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to be able to stand on feet for at least 8 hours/day
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Personal Protection Equipment (PPE): Certain PPE may be required while performing specific job functions

Security Clearance:  Amsive is a Federal Contractor and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
