The Operations Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing and reviewing warehouse operational policies, standards, and procedures as well as financial requirements in accordance with warehousing business and customer needs. This Operations Manager is also responsible for managing warehouse business resources, manpower, internal assets, and external vendors including building an independent 3Pl program.

Who we're looking for:
The Operations Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing and reviewing warehouse operational policies, standards, and procedures as well as financial requirements in accordance with warehousing business and customer needs. This Operations Manager is also responsible for managing warehouse business resources, manpower, internal assets, and external vendors including building an independent 3Pl program.
How you'll make an impact:
- Develop warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems
- Flexibility to handle a direct warehouse and a 3PL
- Implement processes and procedures for operating a 3PL
- Identify and develop new business opportunities that can be handled in the 3PL
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures
- Management of warehouse equipment including maintenance and contracts on fork trucks and lifting equipment
- Tracks and provides management reporting on key metrics
- Handle customer service requests in a timely and professional manner to ensure client's satisfaction
- Be responsible for the overall warehouse budget and P&L
- Ensure the Warehouse Manager is performing these standard functions
- Determines work schedules and assigns areas of responsibility to warehouse personnel packing, loading, crating, and dispatching
- Developing the skills and competencies of all warehouse staff members enabling a flexible workforce
- Performance management of all warehouse staff
- Develop and implement plans to increase efficiency with labor and materials
- Work with department managers to ensure coordination of purchasing, quality control, receiving, storage, and shipping in timely and most cost-efficient manner
- Utilizes a FIFO pulling method and reports on aging inventory
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, business management etc.
- 10+ years of managing office, warehouse, and delivery personnel
- Knowledge of OSHA operating requirements
- Comply with federal/state warehousing requirements
- Inventory management systems
