Position Summary
Linde AMT is currently seeking an Operations Technician for Receiving and Material Handling with primary duties in receiving. You will report out of the Linde facility located in Concord, NH.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Receive incoming freight daily and unload manually or with equipment (forklift, pallet jack)
• Check, inspect, verify, and compare with PO and packing list
• Unpack and label items
• Perform XRF functions on wire receipts
• Stock shelves with items preserved for safe storage, organized and labeled properly with inventory rotation
• Document incoming damage and help solve freight related issues
• Process returns to supplier
• Notify purchasing of supplier issues
• Ensure all purchase orders are received on time and transactions are correct to maintain inventory accuracy
• Cycle count inventory as assigned
• Pick parts for sales orders daily
• Ensure all tooling and equipment is maintained properly
• Maintain 5S standards in the area and participate/recommend kaizen events
• Support Shipping function as required
• Ability to read, follow, and maintain detailed work instructions and Job Safety Analyses
• Maintain operational discipline and comply with Linde policies
• Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
• High School degree or equivalent required
• Receiving or material handling experience required
• Strong understanding of receiving procedures
• Functional knowledge or capable of learning Fed Ex, UPS, LTL and TL operations
• Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; flexible teamwork
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills, attention to details, reliable, resourceful, results driven and motivated behaviors
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
• Positive attitude and customer focus
• Ability to learn Oracle system
• Must be physically able to lift 40 lbs, stand 8 hours without accommodation
• Ability to drive a forklift and utilize carpentry tools
• Perform basic computer skills
• May be asked to work extended hours based on business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
• Oracle, Microsoft word and excel knowledge
