What Will You Be Doing?
- Monitoring all issues related to systems, platforms, servers, circuits, and networking equipment.
- Actively seeks solutions to issues reported by internal or external resources.
- Assists with tier two telephone calls and trouble tickets from internal and external customers; performs software, hardware, and connectivity research and troubleshooting in resolving issues.
- Creates trouble ticket reporting, as needed.
- Communicates with hardware and software development teams, explaining software errors and follows up with internal and external customers.
- Responsible for first line troubleshooting of system and network anomalies.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise for the Job:
Must Haves:
- 1+ years experience in experience in a help desk / technical support environment.
- Strong customer support, networking, PC, and product knowledge.
- Great understanding of Microsoft Office applications and Windows OS.
- Networking and configuration skills, including routers, switches, and networking devices.
- Experience with telecommunication (MPLS, DSL, CP 3G/4G, and Satellite).
Nice to Haves
- Basic server and SQL knowledge.
- Associate Degree in Information Technology.
- Network + or CCNA Certification is a plus.
