Description
Everi Holdings is seeking a dedicated and skilled Support Operations Specialist to join our team! Success in this position requires great communication, problem-solving aptitude, and achieving excellence in both technical and customer support.
This position is pivotal in ensuring that both the technical and customer service aspects of support operations are exceptional - to be considered, you must have a Technical/Customer Service Support background.
What Will You Be Doing?

• Monitoring all issues related to systems, platforms, servers, circuits, and networking equipment.
• Actively seeks solutions to issues reported by internal or external resources.
• Assists with tier two telephone calls and trouble tickets from internal and external customers; performs software, hardware, and connectivity research and troubleshooting in resolving issues.
• Creates trouble ticket reporting, as needed.
• Communicates with hardware and software development teams, explaining software errors and follows up with internal and external customers.
• Responsible for first line troubleshooting of system and network anomalies.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise for the Job:
Must Haves:

• 1+ years experience in experience in a help desk / technical support environment.
• Strong customer support, networking, PC, and product knowledge.
• Great understanding of Microsoft Office applications and Windows OS.
• Networking and configuration skills, including routers, switches, and networking devices.
• Experience with telecommunication (MPLS, DSL, CP 3G/4G, and Satellite).

Nice to Haves

• Basic server and SQL knowledge.
• Associate Degree in Information Technology.
• Network + or CCNA Certification is a plus.

The compensation for this role considers a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location at which the position may ultimately be filled. At Everi, it is not typical for all individuals to be hired at or near the end of the range; compensation decisions depend on each case's facts and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $22.50 - 27/hr.
