POSITION SUMMARY: The Analyst, Operations Support is responsible for gathering, streamlining, standardizing, and documenting processes for the Operations Compliance team. The Analyst will work cross-functionally with Field and Corporate employees to manage specialized permit and license applications and reports. The Analyst will source and prepare data from across the Environmental Solutions group to analyze and deliver compliance data trending to Corporate and Area leadership teams.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage permits, licenses and reports that contain Private Identifiable Information (PII).

  • Build a tracking system to monitor permit expiration and reporting

  • requirements, ensuring new applications are submitted to fulfill regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate with Field and Corporate staff as needed to collect relevant data, signatures, and information to process new permits and reporting requirements.

  • Communicate with regulatory agencies and negotiate applicable
    requirements to reduce unnecessary burdens placed on the business.

  • Regularly review permits to ensure they are still a business requirement.

  • Work with outside counsel and executive administrative staff where appropriate.

  • Collaborate with Field staff regarding noncompliance activities to break down root causes and identify areas of improvement, align responsibilities, and document procedures.

  • Schedule meetings to ensure root cause and corrective actions are determined for all regulatory noncompliance events.

  • Track and trend non-compliance data in EHS-CT for reporting purposes.

  • Assist in monthly reporting activities.

  • Uses experience to help plan and contribute to efforts that align with Operations strategy and timelines.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in the waste, transportation or other industry requiring permits and or licenses.

  • 2+ years of experience working with government agencies or regulatory bodies.

  • Results oriented with good time management skills and an ability to understand key milestones, goals, and objectives working with internal and external stakeholders in a team-oriented environment to meet project goals and achieve objectives.

  • Experience managing and formatting substantial amounts data.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to maneuver through complex corporate situations to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Ability to be discrete and securely manage confidential information.

  • Understands Corporate Structure and Governance.

  • Monitor and track changes in corporate structure and leadership.

  • Grasps concepts quickly, adheres to work schedule and follows through on challenges as they arise with ability to adapt to changing conditions.

  • Ability to translate operational team issues into new ideas and solutions.

  • Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create, process, and design content in mediums such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio.

  • Experience with software used to track corporate entities i.e., SuperViewer Secretariat, or equivalent (preferred).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years working experience as an Analyst or in Operations
