We are currently seeking an OperationsRecruiting Specialist to join our Human Resources team. This role will perform job duties onsite in Racine, WI. 

 

The Operations Recruiting Specialist will direct and deliver all facets of the recruiting process for production and manufacturing positions. You will develop a sourcing and recruiting strategy, execute activities included in the hiring process, and stay connected on local hiring needs to ensure effective and driven recruitment tactics.  In this role, you will be responsible for the identification, evaluation and hiring of candidates for various roles at Cree Lighting.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and updates of openings, head count numbers and priority opening updates 
  • Use internal analytics and metrics to resolve or improve upon recruitment practices, processes and strategies. 
  • Ensure a positive candidate and hiring team experience by providing timely feedback and consistent communication throughout the process 
  • Establish proactive recruitment strategies by managing various recruiting methods including job boards, networking, professional associations/organizations, and campus career fairs.  
  • Conduct intake meeting with Hiring Managers to identity qualifications and responsibilities for new job openings 
  • Schedule or conduct phone interviews, schedule onsite interviews, and source qualified candidates as needed 
  • Participate in HR Team goals and work cross functionally as an HR team member 
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation and manage schedule or process improvements for orientation 
  • Manage the overall scheduling of interviews, and part of the team that interviewing hourly candidates  
  • Preparing and presenting offer letters to potential candidates 
  • Opening and closing job postings
