Eaton's IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Operations Manager - Javelin Products.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $88499.97 - $129799.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:
The Operations Manager - Javelin Products, is responsible for ensuring the profitable operation of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) and driving continuous improvement through root cause problem solving methods. Develop and influence a team of people to get results and develop bench strength within the IPT. Development and execution of the Sales Inventory and Operations Plans (SIOP) focusing on capacity and material planning, with a proactive approach to mitigate risk to the forecast and budget plans. Drive team operational performance metrics including safety, sales, gross margin, quality, inventory, and on-time delivery are met. Lead IPT in the development of operational strategy, aligning with the other functional leaders in Business, Quality and engineering groups.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
• Drive operational KPI's within SOF performance management system and strategy deployment.
• Lead and develop plans for Operations in SIOP process specifically in the areas of capacity and material availability.
• Serve as Lean Six Sigma Champion, leading cross functional groups towards the future state to include: team strategy deployment, productivity improvements, waste elimination, variation reduction, teaming and performance recognition
• Support site wide initiatives in Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain and Quality
• Ensure the deployment of and adherence to standard work
• Ensure all operational processes are carried out in accordance with safety, quality and environmental systems and procedures.
• Assist and support divisional business strategy and organizational transformation and actively communicate with similar functions within division seeking out best practices
• Play an active role in developing the weekly/ monthly production schedules, working with a combination of Business Administrators, Business Managers, and Planners/ Buyers
• Responsible for ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities and driving a Safety first culture
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting manufacturing production goals and operations planning
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management or an equivalent leadership role.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee or Refugee.
  • Relocation is not provided - candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of the Eaton Orchard Park, NY facility.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to think strategically and develop operational plans.
  • Thorough working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma enterprise.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate progressive change and deal effectively with all levels of management.
  • Experience with life support equipment
  • Working knowledge of business finance and ability to link financial outcomes with operational actions and strategy.
