Job Title: Operations Manager, Florida

Job location: Remote in Florida
SUMMARY:
The Florida Operations Manager plans, directs, and coordinates title production of the Florida office. Responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, and efficiency of departmental and organizational operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES responsible for Florida Title production including:
- Supervision and development of employee title examiners and paralegals.
- Identifies, vets, and manages workflow of quality third party title search vendors.
- Performs full title examinations on an as needed basis.
- Collaborates and partners with the Florida Underwriting and Sales team and other business areas to ensure all workflow processes and interdependencies are identified and addressed.
- Influences change to improve performance results, organization effectiveness and/or systems/quality/services; responsible for development and implementation of new ideas that supports work/team.
- Identify gaps and implement enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services, and workflows.
- Assist others to identify solutions to issues that negatively impact program and/or project plan.
- Perform such tasks as necessary on a day-to-day basis to ensure high quality production levels.
- Assess and analyze departmental budgets to find ways to minimize expenses.
- Inspire and motivate employees to perform at their best to cultivate and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Apply continuous improvement methodologies to enhance productivity and process efficiency.
- Compliance and adherence always with the organization’s Code of Ethics and Conduct as well as all our company policies.
- Other duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Florida Title Insurance experience preferred, specifically strong knowledge of residential and commercial title examination, commitment preparation, policy preparation, and use of title plant software.

- Strong organizational, problem solving, and project management skills.
- Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality and be able to handle sensitive material concerning the organization and its agents.

- Proven ability to successfully collaborate with both internal customers and external customers.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional organizational skills required. Ability to meet designated deadlines is also critical.
- High degree of professionalism, positive attitude, and ability to motivate others.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 year’s work experience for a Florida Title Underwriter or a Florida Title Agency preferred.
- Experience leading a team of a fast-paced work environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Florida County Official Records websites, DataTrace, and TitlePoint.
