Essential Responsibilities - Front Office:
- Supervise Front Office: recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Maintain OHM and brand service quality standards for exceptional guest experiences.
- Achieve budgeted revenues, expenses, and maximize profitability.
- Liaison with Housekeeping, F&B, Sales, and Engineering.
- Actively participate in property revenue meetings and contribute to overall profitability.
- Develop financial and operational plans aligning with hotel objectives.
- Actively participate in hotel Sales efforts.
- Collaborate on property budget and expense plans.
- Manage Front Office operations for RevPar and overall profitability.
- Maintain procedures for cash, credit control, and financial transactions.
- Collaborate with the leadership team on reputation management.
- Schedule team according to labor standards and forecasted occupancy.
- Ensure staff is properly trained for world-class guest service.
- Support team member recognition and engagement programs.
- Manage in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Essential Responsibilities - Housekeeping:
- Lead, train & mentor staff in hiring, recruiting, and performance management.
- Assist General Manager in developing the department’s annual budget.
- Establish and maintain cost control systems for staffing and supplies.
- Enforce OHM and brand policies and procedures.
- Ensure guests' needs are met or exceeded, providing world-class service.
- Schedule staff according to labor standards and forecasted occupancy.
- Maintain room quality and cleanliness.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, and public areas.
- Comply and report accurate status of guest rooms to front office.
- Enforce standard procedures for lost and found items.
- Support team member recognition and engagement programs.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Efficient problem-solving and results delivery.
- Ability to work well with diverse personalities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
Education & Experience:
- Four-year undergraduate degree in Management, Hotel Management, or Business.
- Two-year supervisory experience preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
Hours:
- Scheduling may vary, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally.
- Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
Physical Activity:
- Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, typing, grasping, talking, hearing.
Visual Acuity Requirements:
