About the Position:

Full-time Hours:Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

Job Summary:

The Label Coordinator provides label services to plant and office associates. Services provided include printing labels for: products (Kimduras), backtags for displays, substitutions, imports or special projects, samples for the office, manufacturing requests, wave stickers, and re-prints. The labels are printed, verified, cut, and distributed to the correct area. New or changed requirements for labels go to Operations Management for review and approval and then setup by the Label Coordinator.

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Tests and validates hardware/software upgrades for label process.
  2. Train users on software and equipment issues.
  3. Communicates with departments to report and resolve Label/UPC issues and operations problems.

Qualifications:

Skills and knowledge required for this position would generally be acquired through obtaining a high school diploma or one year or more of related experience and/or training.

Requires an overall knowledge of all equipment used in the area of responsibility and any supporting areas. Knowledge of all systems, procedures and production goals needed to maintain maximum efficiency in assigned area. Computer and software proficiency. The ability to handle different job duties as directed per company needs. Able to lift 10lbs frequently and up to 50lbs periodically. Able to sit or stand in one area for up to 8-10 hours.

Have basic math and measuring abilities. Have a sense of urgency and lead by example with a positive attitude. Able to work in a team environment. Able to interact well with peers and superiors in a combined effort to maximize daily goals. Good verbal and written skills.

Ability to read and interpret all necessary paperwork to accomplish maximum efficiencies.

Excellent visual acuity. Competencies include: communicates effectively, action-oriented, resourceful, tech savvy, and customer focused.
