Operations Director –First Call for Chittenden County
The Operations Director, in conjunction with the ProgramDirector and other program leadership has program-wide responsibilities for FirstCall for Chittenden Counties (24/7 crisis program). Responsibilities include: operational andadministrative functions for 24/7 programming, policy and protocol development,and contingency systems planning. The Operations Director maintains intraagency and community stakeholder relationships and ensures program compliancerelated to business operations (hiring, staffing schedule, billing, budget,contracts, and performance outcomes). The Operations director must also have a firmunderstanding of the clinical work and Vermont mental health and substance usesystem of care to effectively support the needs of clients, staff, and programsin our system of care.
Essential Functions:
· Leads program operational functions, including hiring, scheduling,contract or compliance, outcomes, budget, policy, or program initiatives
· Program and team development
· Provides program and clinical supervision
· Provides community-based trainings and maintains partnershipliaison relations
· Attends agency and community forums and committees
· Participates in after-hours on-call and supervisory coverage
Requirements:
· Master’s degree orhigher, with Vermont clinical licensure in good standing preferred
· QMHP requiredwithin 6 months of hire
· Driver’s license and use of a personal vehicle
· 2+ years combinationof mental health and/or substance use direct experience
· 3+yearssupervisory and management experience
· A strongunderstanding of Vermont’s mental health system of care and determiningappropriate level of care
