OPERATIONS CREW MEMBER
Job Description
The Operations Crew Member works as an integral member of the Operations staff under the direct supervision of the Event Operations Manager. Campbell Hall is seeking a hard-working, friendly, motivated member of the operations team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Completes daily operations work orders (event set ups/tear down, cleaning, deliveries, etc.) assigned by the Event Operations Manager.
- Distribute and stock campus faculty lounge and event support supplies, keep stock inventory for off-campus storage units, and on-site units, as needed.
- Assists during summer with office/classroom relocations, summer camp operations, and event setups as needed.
- Assists with traffic control as needed during morning drop off, afternoon pick up, or for special events.
- Maintains a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the schools calendar. Requirement and length of attendance at events or to complete projects will be at the discretion of the Event Operations Manager.
- Other duties as assigned and availability to work weekends based on school calendar.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma
- Minimum Experience Required: 2-3 years equivalent work experience
- Skills Required: Basic customer service experience, event support or hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Experience with basic smart device navigation, Google Suite, and ability to quickly learn new technologies to streamline workflow and communication is strongly preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Primarily works outside, but may perform duties indoors.
- Equipment Used: electric carts, hand tools, ladder.
- Lifting/Carrying 21-50lbs, pushing/pulling 50-100lbs
- Reaching over shoulder to move rolling table carts, push chairs/carts, furniture dollies, climb, crawl, kneel, squat, walk on uneven or slippery surfaces.
- Drive, load and unload school merchandise using school pick-up truck and van.
- Finger dexterity, handling, grasping, holding, repetitive motions of both hands and feet are also required.
Final employment will be contingent upon successful completion of background screening and reference checks.
