Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Operations and Revenue Cycle Trainer to join our IVX Health! The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning, as well as a strong understanding of Revenue Cycle processes.
In this role, you will be responsible for revising, implementing, and conducting training programs related to clinical Operations and Revenue Cycle management processes. You will ensure that employees understand and execute Operations and Revenue Cycle procedures accurately, optimize revenue generation, and comply with regulatory standards. The trainer also assesses training needs, creates educational materials, and evaluates the effectiveness of training initiatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Training Program Development
    • Partner with Learning and Development Specialist to create engaging training modules incorporating various learning methodologies (e.g., workshops, e-learning, simulations)
    • Assist in developing training materials, manuals, and presentations for processes
    • Identify training needs based on industry changes, new technologies, or organizational updates

  • Training Delivery
    • Conduct training sessions for staff on Operations and Revenue Cycle procedures, scheduling, billing, and compliance regulation
    • Organize and facilitate workshops, seminars, and webinars to educate employees on best practices
    • Provide hands-on training to ensure staff proficiency in using relevant software and tools
  • Performance Evaluation
    • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations and feedback mechanisms.
    • Monitor and evaluate employee performance in Revenue Cycle tasks post-training to ensure effectiveness of learning.
    • Collaborate with management to address performance gaps and provide additional support as needed.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and performance evaluations.
    • Generate reports detailing training outcomes, areas for improvement, and recommendations.
  • Compliance and Process Improvement
    • Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards.
    • Collaborate with compliance officers to ensure training materials align with legal requirements.
    • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Strong understanding of Revenue Cycle and reimbursement methodologies, and compliance regulations (HIPAA, CMS guidelines)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information effectively.
  • Proficiency in instructional design, adult learning principles, and training delivery methods
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn and navigate systems.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and other training software/tools
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training needs and measure training effectiveness

REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in training within healthcare Revenue Cycle.
  • Experience training in-person and virtually.
  • Experience working in EHR/Practice Management systems.
  • Experience working in a stand-alone clinic or medical practice
