PAY INFORMATION
$17.00 per hour

LOCATION
Grand Junction is nestled on the Western Slope of the Rocky Mountains. It's a growing city with a small-town feel. While this position will help with business across the state, the office is in Grand Junction.

POSITION
We are looking for an Operations and HR Admin to join our team to work at our Grand Junction Office. The position will perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the department and/or managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.
Essential Job Functions - Administrative Support = 30%
  • Provides administrative and clerical support including correspondence, typing, filing, research and various projects
  • Practices good judgment, discretion, and confidentiality of sensitive information regarding department activities
  • Effectively uses cloud-based collaboration software (i.e. MS Teams)
  • Creates intricate spreadsheets, Word documents, and/or PowerPoint presentations
  • Manage complex administrative tasks
  • Answer, screen, and transfer inbound phone calls. If you need to take a message, send the person the email with the caller's contact information and message
  • Receive and direct visitors and clients
  • General clerical duties including photocopying, fax and mailing
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems
  • Retrieve documents from filing system
  • Handle requests for information and data
  • Resolve administrative problems and inquiries
  • Prepare written responses to routine inquiries
  • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments for managers or supervisors
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence
  • Maintain office supply inventories
  • Coordinate maintenance of office equipment
  • Effectively manages time with minimal supervision
Essential Job Functions - Departmental Support = 30%
  • Recruitment
  • Must be able to navigate in the Company's applicant tracking system to view applications
  • Screening applicants who have applied through the Company's job postings
  • This includes making phone calls, changing statuses, and entering notes during phone screen/interview
  • Scheduling applicants for orientation, training, and onboarding meetings as needed
  • Completing the applicant background check process
  • Communicate with HR Manager regularly on the company's recruitment needs

  • Onboarding
  • Must be able to navigate in the Company's onboarding system to successfully hire candidates
  • Must be able to push candidates through to start onboarding process and email them information on how to do their onboarding – i.e. new hire paperwork
  • Must be able to complete onboarding process to successfully hire new employee
  • Must be able to collect all required forms of government-issued identification for candidates to complete Form I-9s
  • Must be able to complete Form I-9s for all newly hired employees through the Company's I-9 Management system.
  • Must be able to navigate in the Company's scheduling system to successfully hire new employees – ensure that their information has transferred over successfully and correct any errors
  • Communicate with HR Manger and Hiring Managers when a new hire has been successfully hired in the Company's systems
  • Documenting tasks and reporting to both the General Manager and Human Resources Manager (time blocking)
Essential Job Functions - Operational Support = 30%
  • Assist in the scheduling and execution of service requests to include creating sites, contracts, positions, and schedules
  • Monthly audits (running, reviewing, communicating with managers, and terminating)
  • Administrative support directly relating to mass events in the field in addition to the primary place of work.
  • Answer and direct phone calls and route to appropriate department or take message to pass along to appropriate person
  • Organize or schedule appointments as needed – directly traffic when manager availability is limited
  • Maintain office hours and procedures and organization – notating office supplies running low to be ordered through business account, maintain forms and employee resources, and supporting office hours
  • Provide general support to walk-ins and/or visitors
  • Liaise with managers to handle requests or inquiries.
Essential Job Functions - Other Duties = 10%
  • Employee profile management
  • Ensure employee profiles are updated and accurate to include profile photos, phone numbers, permissions, skills and attributes, employee notes, etc.
  • Assist employees with schedule, availability, Mobile App access, and time-off requests
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualification Requirements
  • Provide credible references and I-9 Employment Eligibility Documentation (legal eligibility to work in the U.S.).
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be 18+ years old.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must have 1-3 years of related experience in a similar position or role.

  • Ability to perform job tasks in an professional manner in a customer service driven industry.
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
  • Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management
