Operations and Guest Management

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our rental management business, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient management of all departments. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, including bookkeeping, coordinating cleaning schedules, occasional maintenance, and Guest relations
- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests along with answering questions about the properties and local area
- Monitor and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by promptly addressing any concerns or issues and coming up with solutions to those issues
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and Guest experience
- Manage and train cleaning crews to deliver high quality turnovers
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and monitor budgetary compliance

- Purchase inventory for properties in need and occasionally deliver
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and employees
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve operations

-Must be able to work in a unique "on-call" setting remotely as guests reach out and answer them in a reasonable time frame.

-Position is located in the Mad River Valley of Vermont so you must be reasonably close as there will be occasional need to visit properties and deliver materials, otherwise the rest of the position is entirely remote.

Experience:
- Preferably a minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality management or a similar field that interfaces with guests or customers on a daily basis
- Strong knowledge of rental operations, including rental booking platforms, housekeeping scheduling, maintenance, and Guest relations
- Proficiency in using mobile phone systems and other relevant technology and apps while working remotely
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Willingness and eager to learn new tasks and take on more responsibility as you become more familiar with the operations
