Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations and Compliance Reporting Analyst to join our growing team. In your role, you will be responsible for the support and development of operational reporting, analytics and related reporting tools that will be used to monitor and drive process optimization and efficiency and Compliance for Brightspeed's regulated telecommunications network and its broadband infrastructure team. You will need strong business acumen and organizational skills with the ability to define and implement groundbreaking ideas and work within a fast-moving environment. You will be an essential member of our Broadband Office and will report to the Senior Manager of Broadband Infrastructure.
As an Operations and Compliance Reporting Analyst, you will have the following responsibilities:
  • Provide operational and process support to the field operations, mass markets, network and customer services team supporting front line execution
  • Maintain the accuracy of the regulatory and broadband grant compliance programs, including project changes, communications, reporting, and filing of compliance documents
  • Prepare, review, and track all documentation, changes, and processes for Brightspeed's broadband grants
  • Design and maintain operational guides and documentation to ensure consistency of broadband operations across all projects
  • Review and validate record detail and reports to ensure performance results for the regulated and non-regulated broadband networks are calculated in compliance with applicable state and federal requirements
  • Work across various internal organizations to review potential process changes that may have performance-impacting results. Proactively assist those organizations to ensure changes do not result in the company being out of compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor remedies and penalties to ensure compliance with regulations

Qualifications
WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical work experience
  • Experience with operational and project management systems and applications within the network and communication industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-centric mindset
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Exceptional organization and problem-solving skills with the ability to articulate via written and oral communication

  • Experience with project/program management
  • Experience working in or interacting with a legal organization
  • Telecom/Cable/Internet Service Provider industry experience
