Who Are We Looking For...
The Operations Analyst, E-commerce is responsible for successful delivery of our E-commerce business from an Operations perspective. Reporting to the Senior Logistics Manager, this role works externally with E-commerce 3PL and technology partners, and internally with our Operations, E-Commerce Marketing/Consumer Experience, Quality Assurance and Finance teams. This role has oversight and responsibility for the fulfillment/order-to-cash process for all eCommerce lines of business.
Job DescriptionDaily Work
- Monitor Inventory allocation between platforms reflecting latest sales volume/channel, including internal orders through Shopify.
- Monitor KPIs for trends daily, with high sense of urgency for resolving issues.
- Escalate 3PL inventory shortage risks to the Inventory Management team for reconciliation
- Resolve validation errors on Sales orders
- Executes daily Amazon Vendor and Seller Central reconciliation
- Supports the Celigo bucket process by downloading reports from NetSuite and 3PLs and running comparison formulas on reports to verify inventory needed for adjustment and orders pending fulfillment
- Partners closely with Inventory and Customer Service team on inventory findings to determine if order fulfillment is needed
- Accepts responsibility for the organizational goals by taking ownership of new and different duties and identifying new opportunities within the Operations department
Reporting
- Maintain a dashboard of KPI metrics (e.g., on time shipments, order pick accuracy and re-shipments) and perform analyses to identify and manage risks and opportunities.
- Distribute KPI results to 3PL and internal team on a monthly cadence
- Maintain process flow dashboard reporting that supports a streamlined order review process.
- Report on results from promotional sales
- Maintain master task list open action items, requirements, timeline, owners, and action steps needed to achieve business goals and objectives
- Analyze large data sets to identify risks and opportunities
Supplier Communication and Continuous Improvement
- Recommend optimization projects that drive operational efficiencies and/or an enhanced consumer experience, collaborating with functional leads in Operations, E-commerce Marketing/Consumer Experience and Quality Assurance
- Support communication with 3PL sites and internal stakeholders to review active projects, consumer feedback trends, sales promotions plan, inventory levels/risks, new item, operational changes and KPI feedback on performance to ensure service level are met
- Improve D2C consumer experience by partnering with functional leads in Operations, E-Commerce Marketing/Consumer Experience and Quality Assurance to refine KPIs, identify trends, and implement corrective actions at 3PLs
System Set Up
- Onboard new/maintenance of existing D2C & PurePlay retailers such as Amazon, Walmart.com, Target.com, Kroger.com including EDI or API integrations.
- Facilitate test orders and setup of new E-commerce items, bundles, LTOs, etc. in collaboration with the new product development and packaging configuration teams, leveraging Wrike (workflow management system).
- 3+ years experience in E-commerce operations using a 3PL network.
- Experience with Shopify, Amazon Vendor/Seller Central, ERP (NetSuite & Celigo preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (including Advanced Formulas, Pivot Tables, Charts)
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Familiarity w/ Power BI or other data visualization tools preferred.
- High sense of urgency and ability to be entrepreneurial and methodical
- Experience with troubleshooting EDI/API connections as a business process owner (developer experience not required)
- Experience with Order Fulfillment process (pick/pack, inventory management), Warehousing/transportation
- Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team
- Collaborative mindset with strength in effectively receiving and communicating feedback
- Ability to flex work hours depending on business needs (E-commerce tasks are time sensitive)
Additional Information
Compensation Range: $65-70k (DOE)
Bonus / Benefits / Vacation / 401k Eligible
