PURPOSE OF JOB
Process sea freight import operations. Verify documentation provided by overseas office and/or customer, confirm Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), coordinate delivery arrangement, process daily cargo tracing, update status to system, sending to customer the status, ensure shipments are complete to destination, and proper documents in each file and invoice.

Paid Time Off (PTO)
- PTO begins to accrue for eligible new hires on their first day of employment with the Company, subject to the accrual cap.
Paid Holidays
- Newly hired employees are entitled to all mandatory and optional/shift holidays that remain for the calendar year. A newly hired employee who begins employment after January 1 of the calendar year is not entitled to more than ten (12) paid holidays for that calendar year.
Retirement Plan
- 401(k) Plan (current employer match .50 cents for each employee dollar) subject to the current vesting schedule.
Student Loan Assistance
- Eligible for student loan assistance after three (3) months of continuous employment, pending verification.
- Company monthly contribution of $437.50, not to exceed an annual contribution of $5,250.00.
- Any eligible employee participating in both Student Loan Assistance Program and Tuition Reimbursement Program is subject to a total maximum annual amount of $5,250.00 for both programs combined for the calendar year.
Tuition Reimbursement
- Eligibility for Tuition Reimbursement is three (3) months of continuous employment.
- Reimbursement is limited to $5,250.00 per employee per calendar year.
- Any eligible employee participating in both Student Loan Assistance Program and Tuition Reimbursement Program is subject to a total maximum annual amount of $5,250.00 for both programs combined for the calendar year.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Check Pre-alert that is sent by Overseas office, print from E-mail or Kintetsu Document Imaging Application (KDIA), open and create shipment File. Daily
2. Check documents and follow up with overseas offices for any missing documents, discrepancies, and with Carrier/co-loader to obtain necessary documentation. Daily
3. Operation Entry to Unified Freight System (UFS) for Arrival notice, Arrival notice invoice, Customer invoices, KWE internal invoice, Delivery Order and send to applicable parties. Daily
4. Process necessary vendor payments request and protect Cost in operation system. Daily
5. Turn documents over to custom broker and communicate updated status, update KWE Arrival notice with updated information such updated ETA, IT No & Date and charges such as Exam fee. Daily
6. Trace status and location of cargo and input into the Unified Freight System (UFS) & Customer’s required report and notify applicable customer(s)/broker(s) and follow up Collect charges, original Bill of lading and the shipment status until delivered and Empty container is returned. Daily
7. Collect charges from the customs broker or the customer. Document and copy receipt of payment and submit to Accounting for cashing. Daily
8. Process release of cargo once payment and Original Bill of Lading (OBL) required shipment, have been collected. Daily
9. For KWE delivery shipments, coordination with vendors, and customer for delivery arrangement and update the status and provide timely notification/report the status and charges to customers/overseas offices. Daily
10. Create Billing work sheet, process billing and Submit Invoice to the customer/payment company. Daily
