Operational Strategist - Organizational Architect - Tech Startup

Your will forge our "invention machine" into an autonomous, world-class entity that thrives on innovation and autonomy. You'll architect the operational blueprint for teams that manifest our vision, building software and systems that not only meet but exceed the elegance of Apple and the innovation speed of Amazon.

What you will be doing:

• Spearhead operational strategy to build, manage, and scale autonomous, high-functioning teams with the capability of delivering groundbreaking products
• Implement a rigorous "bar raiser" process to hire teams that boast the highest standards of technical and creative acumen
• Empower teams to act as business owners, accountable for their domains, fostering a culture of self-funding initiatives that pay for their innovation
• Champion our product development life cycle, ensuring every team's creation aligns with a meticulously crafted future press release that delineates the opportunity, customer problem, and innovative solution
• Drive team morale by nurturing an environment that rewards world-class talent with the freedom to invent and delight customers continuously
• Oversee adoption of our proprietary business review system following the DMAIC 6 Sigma System, focusing on customer-centric metrics and data-driven decision-making
• Facilitate growth of our invention machine by systematically eliminating dependencies, encouraging rapid innovation, and defining clear metrics for success
• Cultivate a relentless commitment to high standards and continuous improvement, utilizing tools like the 5 Whys Process for root cause analysis

What you need to qualify:

• Experience in a similar role at Amazon, Apple, or other tech leaders, with a deep understanding of building and scaling high-performance teams
• Proficiency in project management, technical expertise, and exceptional business judgment
• Demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary teams and delivering products that resonate with customers
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in defining and tracking key metrics to drive business decisions
• Leadership experience with a record of self-funding team initiatives and driving innovation at pace
