Job Title: Operational Risk Analyst

Location: Vienna, VA-

Job Type: Full-time Contract- Must be able to work as a W2 employee of Newbold.

Compensation: $60-$66 p/h will be based on the candidate’s skills and experience. No other forms of compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, are offered for this position.

Duration: 6-month contract with extensions

We are seeking an Operational Risk Analyst for our client who is a dynamic and innovative financial organization committed to excellence and compliance.

Responsibilities:

Develop and lead regulatory compliance tests and risk assessment projects to evaluate compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements, industry standards, and operating procedures.

Conduct quality control reviews of loans and incentive programs to ensure operational and procedural adherence, maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Review, analyze, and report on Operational Risk, quality, service, and controls. Identify areas for improvement, enhance efficiency and effectiveness, and mitigate operational and regulatory vulnerabilities.

Maintain and update Operational Risk procedural manuals, job aides, and tools to ensure accuracy and relevance.

Conduct in-depth and comprehensive gap analyses to determine the root cause of process gaps and regulatory compliance failures.

Qualifications:

· Experience with Empower, MSP, or regulatory compliance testing software is preferred.

· Proven experience in regulatory compliance testing and risk assessment projects.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform in-depth gap analyses.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
