Operating Room Technician- Per diem

JOB DESCRIPTION (30416511)

• Job Title: Operating Room Technician
• Job Location: New York, NY 10025
• Client: Mount Sinai Health System
• Facility: Mount Sinai West
• Duration: 13 weeks of contract (extendable)- Per diem
• Shift: 10 hrs./day & 40 hrs./ week (3PM-11:15PM)
• Pay rate: $60/hourly

Education:

• Education: High School diploma required.
• Courses in Operating Room technology, science, biology and chemistry preferred.

Skills:

• Aseptic techniques

Responsibilities:

• Perform ""scrub"" assignment according to established guidelines
• Assist the Registered Professional Nurse in performing circulating functions according to established guidelines.
• Assist the nurse in preparing medications or solutions to be administered during surgery, within limitations
• Label all medications that are not already labeled, for example medicines in syringes, cups and basins when Not for immediate patient use by the original preparer and/or if the medication is to be handed off to another provider for administration.

Job Types: Contract, Per diem

Salary: $57.00 - $60.00 per hour
