SalaryOR scheduling office M-F, 8a-noon. Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner. Accurately enter necessary surgical data ensuring appropriate placement and confidentiality of information. Schedule surgery procedures in EPIC computer system either from the EPIC system depot, fax, office communication, or surgeons. Coordinate additional services as needed for surgical procedures. Notifies team members of changes as they occur. Greet and assist surgeons. Confirm the surgery schedule with provider office daily. Update Staff On Call Schedule daily. Monitor vendors on admission to the OR for Green Security compliance. Maintain employee timecards in Kronos time keeping system, experience in EPIC, knowledge of medical terminology required. Part-time position is expected to flex hours to accommodate vacations with 2 other OR schedulers. Word and Excel experience preferred.
