The Women’s Centers Advocacy Center located in Cherry Hill NJ supports the needs of patients at several independent, high-quality abortion and GYN Centers. Patient Advocates (Online Chat Only) will support patients by responding to their questions through a chatbot in real time. They will schedule patient’s appointments and provide patients with financial and logistical resources.
Patient Advocate by Online Chat Responsibilities include:
- Working with a team to offer patient-centered care through advocacy, education, empathy
- Scheduling patients for abortion care, pregnancy options counseling and collaborative care for patients seeking a pro-choice pregnancy plan
- Bilingual candidates preferred but not required. Spanish is most commonly needed but all languages welcome to interpret for patients and their loved ones throughout the patient care experience.
- This person needs to have a typing speed of at least 40-60 rpm.
- They need to have the ability to use multiple programs at once (EMR, Word, Microsoft TEAMS, Outlook).
- They need to have strong at home internet
- They need to make minimal typing errors and have a fast response time.
Ideal candidates possess:
- Interest in abortion as a reproductive justice issue
- General knowledge of reproductive systems
- Prior experience with online scheduling
- Prior experience with administrative or reception work
- Prior experience with customer service
New college graduates are welcome to apply; some customer service experience is required.
