GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Onboard Purchasing Lead serves as a leader within the Category Development team and will focus on executing all onboard purchasing activities. The Onboard Purchasing Lead will be accountable for achieving/exceeding KPIs. The Onboard Purchasing Lead will collaborate cross-functionally to successfully execute while managing inventory and purchasing requirements. The Onboard Purchasing Lead will report to the Director of Onboard Purchasing.
SALARY: Up to 60,000
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the distribution purchasing project management while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including identifying requirements, placing POs, tracking POs and generating and releasing sales orders
- Provide project status and risks to cross-functional teams to ensure successful onboarding
- Execute and manage POG line listings within prelude in collaboration with CDM team
- Execute EOM cost change for Sales Execution team to execute with customers
- Support continuous improvement focused on onboard purchasing functions while working with cross-functional team
- Develop working relationships with cross-functional teams and supporting departments, that influence successful onboarding execution
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree 4-6 years of business experience in consumer sales.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills – abilities to identify issues and opportunities a must
- Comfort in managing multiple projects, working with various cross functional groups, often at the same time
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills in particular with Excel and Powerpoint
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong sense of ownership, proactive, can-do attitude
- Curiosity and vigor to learn, grow and challenge the status quo
