On Site Representative (OSR)

Overview

The Air Force Civil Engineer (AFCEC) community has identified the cybersecurity of Civil Engineer (CE) Control Systems as essential in securing the infrastructure at Department of the Air Force (DAF) installations. The AFCEC Operations Directorate (AFCEC/CO) is tasked to support securing this infrastructure by contracting for cybersecurity service capabilities on behalf of the CE enterprise. AFCEC manages cyber risk; and identifies, mitigates, monitors, and predicts cyber vulnerabilities related to CE Control Systems worldwide. By Light is looking for an experienced Onsite Representative (OSR) who will perform critical program tasks including effectively communicating program status with customer stakeholders. Candidates will work individually and within a team to develop, track, and report ongoing project progress and communicate action items from government personnel to program leadership. Candidates will work within an assigned region and will support multiple locations simultaneously.

Required Experience/Qualifications

• Proficiency in computer skills such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Jira
• Ability to work independently in limited supervision environments.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with government stakeholders.
• A team player attitude to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to develop and present PowerPoint slides to discuss status and metrics.
• Ability to develop meeting minutes to capture discussions throughout meetings.

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

• A self-motivated desire for learning new technologies and an interest in professional growth.
• A general understanding of control system architectures.
• Prior experience working in DoD environments.
• At least two years of professional experience in a customer facing role, ideally with government personnel.
• An active entry-level Professional Security related certification (Security+)
