Job Overview:
As an On-Site Mechanical Technician Representative, you will represent from a technical perspective to designated customers. You will be the primary point of contact for any issues and responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and providing hands-on guidance to optimize the performance of our products. You will work with various departments to ensure technical/quality issues are addressed and response deadlines are met on verbal or written requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-Site Support: Review all DMRs onsite at customer’s facility daily, or as required. This includes meeting with the DMR focal to determine DMR disposition.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues promptly, collaborating with the client's team to implement effective solutions.
- Training: Conduct training sessions for client personnel on the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our products.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored technical solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of on-site visits, technical issues, and solutions implemented. Effectively communicate issues with internal personnel.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for product improvement based on client feedback and on-site observations.
Requirements:
- At least five (5) to eight (8) years of machining, electronics sheet-metal, semiconductor and/or mechanical assembly experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to interface with personnel of different levels, in a professional manner and in busy environments.
- Requires knowledge of pricing, materials and services used in parts fabrication and assembly.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license, pass a stringent background check and be a person of high moral character.
- Requires reasoning, writing, reading, communication and computer skills normally acquired through college education and/or practical business experience.
- Must have machining and assembly background in manufacturing.
- Semiconductor / Cleanroom experience is a plus.
- Must be available to be On-Call on Saturdays as needed.
Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm.
Monday - Friday schedule. On-Call on Saturdays as needed
