Job Description
We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team! You will assist end users by resolving computer-related issues for our client.
We have a Full-Time Contract opportunity in the Jerome, ID area providing on-site end user/desktop support Mon - Fri, 8am to 5pm. This job assignment is scheduled to begin in the Spring, and following a satisfactory background screening. This assignment will run for approximately 4-6 months (with some potential for extension).
Responsibilities:
- Installation and/or imaging of workstations.
- End-user support for executives, office personnel, and other key business stakeholders; this could include installation and configuration of hardware and software applications, as well as some security functions such as password resets, etc.
- Experience with copying/restoring end user data files, migrating Windows 7 to Windows 10 utilizing tools such as SCCM, PXE boot, etc.
- Experience working with active directory, domains, etc.
- A/V conferencing, and VoIP device replace and configuration.
- Support of enterprise solutions including Microsoft Office365, Exchange e-mail, Anti-Virus software.
- Provide timely and efficient executive-level support.
- Provide technical support on commonly used applications and devices (MFD network printers, O365 Applications, etc.)
Requirements:
- 5+ years support experience in an enterprise environment using Windows and some Apple/Mac hardware.
- Application support for Microsoft Office365, SharePoint Online and Exchange Online.
- Operating Systems: Windows Server, Mac OS X (Server/Workgroup Manager), iOS and Windows 7 through 10.
- Xerox, Canon, HP printer installation and configuration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively operate independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
