About Us:
At Fine Designs, we're not just a custom apparel company; we're the champions of on-site sporting Event Apparel around the globe. Our mission is twofold: creating personalized gear for participants and raising funds for our partnered organizations. Based in Kentucky and North Carolina, our dynamic team is on the lookout for enthusiastic event sales staff to embark on a journey through the Midwest region.
Your Role as a Sales Representative:
As a Fine Designs Sales Representative, you'll become a part of our region-wide adventure, covering Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. You'll be at the forefront of promoting customized, on-the-spot Event Apparel at a wide range of sporting events, from soccer and basketball to volleyball, and more. Each event is a unique canvas for crafting lasting memories for athletes and spectators.
A Weekend with Us:
Every weekend, we hit the road to different locations, where we set up our sales booth and get into the game (pun intended)!
Flexible Schedule:
We understand that your availability may vary, so whether you're looking for consistent weekend work or occasional supplemental income, we can accommodate your preferences.
Independent Contractor Status:
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with this essential aspect of the position:
As an independent contractor, you won't be our employee. You'll be self-employed, and your name is your business name. You'll have the freedom to set your own schedule by letting us know the weekends you're available to work under contract with us. If slots are available, you'll be contracted for that weekend. If you have any questions about your contractor status, don't hesitate to ask during your interview, and our team will provide further details.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older with a Valid Driver's License
- Ability to travel locally and cover distances of several hours
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs (boxes, heat press, etc.)
Responsibilities:
- Work typically takes place from Friday to Sunday
- Pick up stocked company fleet vehicle from our Nicholasville warehouse
- Set up sales booth on-site
- Print and sell official Event Apparel to customers
Compensation:
- Minimum of $150 per day OR 8%-9% commission (whichever is greater)
- Hotel expenses covered
- Fleet card provided for gas expenses
- Paid mileage of .10/mile
- Referral bonuses of $200 per referral (referred contractor must have completed 5 events on their own)
