  • $80,000 to $100,000 per year (base pay plus quarterly PFPs).

Job Summary:
The On-Premise Wine Sales Manager is responsible for the overall efforts to maximize sales, product distribution, and customer service levels within an assigned territory. This position directs, coaches, and motivates the team to achieve the annual objectives and outperforms competing distributors’ sales teams.

Territory:
Covering accounts in Concord, Manchester, and Portsmouth New Hampshire.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and achieve territory goals and objectives for volume sales, product distribution and service.
  • Execute against a targeted non-buy account list by customer & brand. Work with sales team to secure new business through closure of account & distribution voids on a regular basis.
  • Identify, target, and develop potential new accounts within territory.
  • Communicate business trends and development in a timely manner to the New Hampshire State Manager.
  • Ensure proper execution of weekly/monthly ad features including competitive display locations and maximum utilization of POS.
  • Monitor competitive product positioning at each account on a regular basis. Encourage and assist with shelf and cold box resets.
  • Ensure optimal and maximum utilization of promotional programs and company resources. Actively coordinate and participate in all territory activities as needed.
  • Assist Sales Representatives in resolving customer complaints. Utilize New Hampshire State Manager and/or other PST personnel as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of retail trade, sales & strategic marketing in the beverage industry.
  • Proven record of sales achievement.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven analytical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Space Management.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects on a consistent basis.
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Physical Requirements:
  • Regular and sustained periods of strenuous physical exertion requiring ability to lift, carry and position objects using proper body mechanics (10 to 15 pounds consistently and 25 to 40 pounds occasionally).
  • Significant periods of time spent in a vehicle, traveling to accounts within assigned territory.
  • Exposure to a variety of environmental conditions: weather, temperature, lighting, and noise as determined by circumstances at accounts within assigned territory.
