On Call Staffing Coordinator/ Registered Nurse – At Home with Van Dyk

Remote Position/ In Field Visits -Company Services Bergen & Passaic counties
On call position, Hours are from Friday 4:30pm – Monday 8:30am. Additional Evenings available.
Pay Rate: Daily Rate of $40-$200 per day & pay per visit (RN Visits) $35-$75 & Mileage.
Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Must be certified as an R.N. in the state of New Jersey.
- Home Care Experience a must. Private Pay Home Care Experience Preferred.
- Must have a reliable vehicle.
- Must have a Driver’s License in good standing.
- Customer Service and/or Employee Relations experience a must.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with our customers and employees to ensure their needs are being met.
- Takes ownership of problems and is creative in finding solutions.
- Exhibits a high level of professionalism and emotional maturity.
- Compassionate and dependable
- Bilingual English and Spanish a plus
Responsibilities:
- Take calls or messages from our Caregivers & Clients, discuss late arrivals, illnesses, emergencies or no-shows & arrange to staff any resulting vacancies.
- Must answer every incoming call. Calls that may come in while on the other line are to be returned within 30 minutes.
- Responsible for filling any CHHA shift vacancies as they may arise after-hours to maintain continuity of care for our clients.
- Performs required nursing visits in supervisory or direct care capacity.
- Supervises and evaluates the performance of field staff based on plan of care.
- Conducts initial client assessment and reassessments and plans client’s care.
- Maintains confidentiality of client assessment and records
- Must submit all documentation within 48-72 hours.
- Serves as a liaison between our customers, employees, and Directors.
- Interacts with customers to understand their needs and ensure that the most qualified staff are assigned to meet their needs.
- Interacts with staff to ensure appropriate assignment to cases based on skill sets, schedules, and work availability.
- Accommodate and arrange coverage for employee absences including personal time off by coordinating with available staff.
- Provide customers and families with information on schedules, coverage, and staff substitutes.
