We're looking for ambitious, career-oriented Washington DC Special Police Officers to join our team. The ultimate goal of this job is to become proficient in the field of security, so our ideal candidate is someone who is highly motivated, demonstrates leadership skills and performs their duties with a high degree of professionalism. A Special Police Officer needs to be physically fit to perform law enforcement duties in a variety of situations, including chasing criminals and responding to emergency calls. **For this position you must have an active license for DC SO and/or SPO.

Current shift availability:

2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am.

Must be available on Weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Administer first aid and general medical treatment to sick and injured persons.
• Patrol assigned area to maintain peace and order as well as identify crime trends.
• Secure client patrons, guest, property and staff members
• Recognize and communicate signs of distress caused by a mental or physical impairment, providing for referral for appropriate care.
• Control traffic by issuing citations or warnings.
• Assist victims of accidents by helping them and reporting the incident to emergency medical personnel.
• Answer calls from citizens reporting crimes in progress or other emergencies.
• Respond to calls regarding individuals that are behaving strangely or are dangerous to themselves.

Seeking:

-Bilingual (Spanish Speaking preferred)

-DC Licensed SO and/or SPO

-Reliable transportation

-Pass criminal background check and drug screening

-The ability to write manual incident reports

-Timely Professional and Customer Friendly

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
