As Esthetician, you will be accountable for shaping the guest experience by providing exceptional service in support of our world-renowned hotel and spa. FSNYD is recognized as a Forbes 5 Star Hotel; Forbes 5 Star Spa and AAA 5 Diamond Hotel.

Who you are:
The Esthetician is responsible for guest satisfaction in the spa by performing services to the best of their ability while maintaining Four Seasons standards throughout all procedures. The knowledge to analyze skin and recommend the best service and home care products for the guest's skin type. We are looking for individuals who have a knowledge of Esthetician operations with good communication skills. Applicants are required to have physical mobility as lifting, walking, bending and moving objects up to 50 lbs. Speaking, writing and reading English is required. Positive attitude and willing to learn is must. This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & ACCOUNTABILITY:
Some of the duties of an Esthetician are:
- Follow proper payroll procedures.
- Follow all standards set in place by Four Seasons for sequence of service, etc.
- Able to utilize Book4Time and/or any computerized applications.
- Clean and properly flip the treatment room after each service.
- Maintain and neat and quiet work area at all times.
- Maintain a well-stocked treatment room at the end of each shift.
- Have knowledge of each area of the Spa and Fitness Center and provide information to guests about services offered in the Spa as well as the Hotel.
- Perform all treatments assigned to your shift.
- Have knowledge of retail offerings and be prepared to make appropriate recommendations to guests.
- Respond appropriately in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
- Perform others tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
- Analyze skin and make recommendations based on a guest's skin condition to deliver the best possible results.
- Set up, utilize, or operate and clean all equipment in the facial rooms including:
- Facial steamer/maglamp, high frequency, galvanic, microcurrent, microdermabrasion, oxygen infusion technologies
- Sterilizer
- Treatment Table
- Depilatory heater and wax
- Extractors/Tweezers
- Provide a professional and relaxed facial to all clients.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- 1-2-year experience
- Dual license
