SalaryObjective: As an ON CALL Care Officer at Amada Senior Care, your primary responsibility is to provide compassionate and reliable care to our clients in their homes. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Your role involves being available for cases that require urgent attention, often on short notice.
Day-to-Day Duties:
Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Help clients with tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take their medications as prescribed.
Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversations, provide emotional support, and participate in activities with clients.
Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary requirements.
Light Housekeeping: Assist with light cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other outings.
Observation and Reporting: Monitor clients’ health and report any changes to the supervisor.
Position Details:
In-Home Position: You will work directly with clients in their homes.
Being On Call: As an ON CALL Caregiver, you must be available for last-minute assignments. These cases may arise due to emergencies, sudden illness, or unexpected caregiver absences.
Trustworthiness and Reliability: We expect our caregivers to be dependable, punctual, and trustworthy. Clients rely on you for their well-being.
Ethical Behavior: Our zero-tolerance policy ensures that any unethical behavior, such as lateness, absence, or declining on-call shifts, may result in automatic demotion/ Termination of ON CALL Care Officer.
Hourly Rate: The position pays between $17 and $18 per hour.
