On Air Personality Radio (Part-time)

TITLE: On-Air Personality Radio

DEPARTMENT: Radio/Pulse FM

REPORTS TO: Program Director

FLSA: Part Time – approximately 20-23 hours per week

Position Summary – The On-Air Personality hosts weekdays and tracks other dayparts weekends as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Host client commercial recording sessions.
• Host morning, midday, or afternoon on Pulse FM.
• Host other dayparts including weekends as assigned. Live or voice track as directed by Program Director.
• Host and coordinate other segments within on-air shift.
• Review logs and monitor On Air for accuracy during On Air shift.
• Attend and host or cohost station events and live remotes.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Skills in Wide Orbit Music software and Adobe audio software.
• Current or recent experience in non-commercial and/or commercial radio in production and as an On-Air Host/DJ.
• Strong ability to connect, engage and relate with station’s core audience and key demographic targets; cutting through all the clutter to inspire and shine a daily light both On Air and at events.
• Proficient in social media platforms.
• Highly organized and strong ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.
