Job Description:
RN, Correctional Medicine
Cuyahoga County Jail, Downtown Cleveland
Work Responsibilities:
Facility houses approximately 1700 patients.
Nurse responsible for completing intake assessments.
Respond to medical emergencies and providing care within RN scope of practice.
Mandatory qualifications:
One year minimum experience as an RN.
What network access and/or various applications will the individual need?:
Epic
Required Licenses/Certifications:
Active Ohio RN license
Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association ONLY
Preferred Qualifications:
Corrections or Behavioral Health experience; EPIC.
Work Environment / Physical Requirements:
Correctional healthcare setting.
Will be required to walk and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift/push up to 50 pounds.
Position Urgency:
Normal
Shifts:
Day shift 6:45am-7:15pm Night shift 6:45pm-7:15pm Every other weekend and holiday required. No exceptions. Will not adjust shifts to meet traveler's availability.
