Offshore Analyst

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or other related fields
• Minimum two years related analytical work experience, preferably in a valuation, transaction advisory, investment banking, corporate finance, or consulting role
• Strong understanding of broad financial markets and valuation, specifically for financial institutions. Ability to handle multiple, complex projects with attention to detail while meeting deadlines
• Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills
• Demonstrated the ability to function in a fast paced, ambiguous working environment with multiple and diverse responsibilities while possessing exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.) and have experience developing financial models using large, complex data
• A desire to work in a fast-paced volatile environment both independently and collaboratively

Responsibilities:

• Assist in building complex financial models, preparing Confidential Information Memorandums, management presentations, valuation presentations, and other ad hoc presentations or reports
• Help perform merger valuations for depository institutions
• Participate in presentations or strategic discussions around transactions
• Research and analyze client, prospect, industry, etc. and help devise creative solutions to solve issues throughout the transaction process
• Maintain strong understanding of the economy, financial markets, and M&A trends, particularly in our core industry focus including changes in regulatory or competitive landscape
• Work closely with senior staff, external parties, and clients to facilitate a smooth process
• Maintain, review, and organize data warehouse for internal and external stakeholders
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
